1. The sophistication of the material
This item is not accidentally the first on my list, it is perhaps the key in terms of quality of content. It turns out that, having stated in the heading “parameters for the quality content of the content”, I as a copywriter should write about quality and disclose all aspects related to the quality of content on the site. It seems to be an absolutely logical truth, however, in RuNet there are a lot of articles with flashy headlines and empty content. If the site is full of such empty articles, then it becomes uninteresting after reading the second article … I recall one story from “Jumble” – “What’s on the box, then in the box” – remember?
2. Accessibility in the perception of new information
It is about the perception of the material by the addressee. You can pump up the reader or listener with a large amount of theory, which is essentially a topic, but at the same time it is often better to focus on a wider circle. It’s better to make the material simpler without losing quality content, of course. Universal advice, isn’t it? So, for example, one can explain to a person the difference between an “asset” and a “liability” in different ways. You can give highly specialized definitions from the theory of accounting, or you can say like a rich dad: “An asset puts money in your pocket, and a liability takes it,” – short, simple and clear, agree? It is also worth noting that, since most people perceive visual information better, it is better to break your text with headings that catch your eye with pictures and diagrams that explain the essence of the issue.
3. Consistency in the supply of material
The sequence of presentation of the material is also highlighted in a separate paragraph, since I myself know that when I open a difficult topic, I want to say everything right away, do you agree? From this seemingly noble desire, porridge is often obtained. But here is the simplest way to structure the material. Just make a plan with specific points that reveal one side of the question or another. Personally, I’m probably overdoing it. I called all my articles as selection: “… 3 stages …”, “… 4 components …”, “… 5 steps …”. This is not accidental – it is simply an attempt to consistently expose, although not complicated, but a sufficiently large volume of material.
4. Writing style or speaking style
It is everyone’s personal affair, of course, and it’s incorrect to say that you need to write or say such and such. Personally, I think that the best option is “Feel at home, but do not forget that you are visiting.” That is, to be yourself and at the same time “keep the brand”.
We are all people, but if you, for example, are a person relaxed in life and easily speak on any topic, then a visitor to your site may consider you cheeky and ill-mannered. I may exaggerate, but nonetheless … Or, for example, another option, excessive restraint in writing and speech can, on the contrary, create a “wrong” image of you about a person, which will not contribute to overwriting the border of distrust. In general, the Internet has the opportunity to present yourself to anyone.
5. Disclosure of the topic from the point of view of the concept of “To be – to do – to have”
This paragraph is directly related to the so-called selling text. The bottom line is that when describing your services, goods, etc., it’s not enough just to describe its merits. It is necessary to clearly present the visitor the specific advantages that he will receive in accordance with the concept of “To be – to do – to have.”
That is, you want to become an Internet entrepreneur and use the resources of the Internet in order to earn specific money. For example, on the start page of your site, you can specifically say – “Have $ 4,000 USD on the Internet.” It turns out that “To be” is an Internet user, “To do” is to use its resources, and “To have” is a specific result of $ 4000 USD. The bottom line is that people associate themselves with different phases of the cycle. There are people of action who are better off showing a clear step-by-step plan, but someone is better off saying that he will get a concrete result. The third, for example, wants to understand that he will be able to remain in the status of “master of his life.” Therefore, while working on the qualitative side of the content of your site, it is better to satisfy all appetites.
The quality of the content, in addition to the quality itself, indirectly refers to the quality of the site itself. We are talking about the style chosen for design up to the font size and background color of the page. These points are also very important. Here the recipe is simple – do everything at the level most accessible to you and do not forget about the time.
